At New Dental Images, we are highly committed to the safety and health of our valued patients and employees.

We have always strictly complied with OSHA mandated protocols to maintain a highly sterile environment within our dental offices. In moving forward, our office is implementing some guidelines and protocols that are stemmed from COVID-19.

What Steps Are We Taking?

  • Placement of sneeze guard on our reception counter
  • HEPA Filter Air Purifier in the lobby to treat the air you breathe, giving you a cleaner and healthier environment.
  • Hand sanitizer stations
  • All magazine and pamphlets were removed
  • Lobby surfaces and restrooms, including countertops, door handles, doorknobs, tables, and chairs, are disinfected frequently.

  • Our office has portable hospital-grade HEPA filtration Recirculator II units that can turn our dental operatories into a negative pressure room and isolation rooms. The Recirculator II is specially designed to combat the resurgence of Tuberculosis and the control of SARS, Avian Flu, Swine Flue H1N1, and new threats like COVID-19. This system provides a cleaner treatment room, cleans the treatment room air in between patients, & safely treats at-risk patients with the peace of mind for both patients and employees.
  • We invested in the Healthy Air® Source Capture System for Dental Aerosol Extraction, which effectively collects airborne contaminants. With patented eHEPA® technology, this unit effectively filters the air in a highly efficient and innovative 3-stage process, resulting in a safer work environment with a healthier breathing zone for occupants.
  • As always, after each patient visit, the treatment room will be wiped down with Cavicide or an equivalent surface disinfectant. The room air will then be cleaned using the Recirulator II unit before the arrival for the next patient.

  • Office Entry Restricted: Only patients may enter the office for an appointment. Spouses, friends, caregivers, parents, and children need to wait outside/in the car. They may assist the patient to the front door and handoff to the dental assistant. We ask for a legal guardian to stay in the waiting room during the treatment of minors.
  • Patients/Legal guardians will use hand sanitizer or wash hands with soap upon entering and leaving the office.
  • COVID-19 Pre-Treatment Disclosure Form is filled out before the visit.
  • All patients will have their temperature taken with a Forehead Infrared Thermometer
  • All patients will use a pre-treatment oral rinse with hydrogen peroxide for the safety of our staff and others.

  • All employees and affiliated providers undergo detailed background health history of COVID-19 related screenings before employment.
  • Our office strictly enforces sick policies that require employees suffering from contagious illnesses to stay home from work until cleared by a medical doctor.
  • Employees who have traveled to a country with a Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Level 3 or higher are required to self-quarantine for 14 days before returning to work.
  • Employees are having their temperature monitored daily before starting their shift.
  • Employees are provided with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including masks, face shields, gowns, bouffants, and shoe covers. We have N95 masks, respirators, and full-body suits for highly aerosolized procedures as needed.

To help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and to "Flatten the Curve," our office is vamping up protocols by utilizing PPEs, office cleaning standards, installing hospital-grade air purifying machines, and beautiful soft lighting in the foyer and hallway for our patients' safety and comfort.

Our patient's dental health, overall well-being, and comfort is our top priority.

As we collectively work toward the safe return to practice, the team at New Dental Images is now open to provide all dental services, and we are only a phone call away to answer any question of dental needs.
